MTSI's Project Experience

            The MTSI corporate experience began in January of 1980 at the company's founding.  Preceding this, however, the total applicable experience for the company's founder and some of the employees of MTSI, include 10 years at the General Electric Aircraft Engine Division (1960-1970) and 10 years at Turbine Power Systems Co., later sold to become Rolls Royce Energy Systems.  Clicking on any hyperlinks below will direct you to more detailed descriptions and pictures about the inquired project.

            This total experience can best be outlined chronologically as follows:

·        Entered marine and industrial gas turbine business w/General Electric in 1960.

○       1960-1963 – Marketing and product development assignments. LM100, LM350 etc.

§         LM1500 Engineering sub section manager

·        Pipeline gas compression projects

·        Dicks Creek 100 MW – Cinergy (10 x LM1500 G/G + 1P/T)

·        Repowering of steam turbine generators at

○       Louisville Gas & Electric (4 x LM1500P)

○       Pennsylvania Power and Light/Scranton (3 x LM1500P)

○       Emergency Generator – Millstone Point Nuclear (1)

§         LM1500 Marinazation Program for U.S. Navy

§         LM2500 Task force representative re GE Investment in LM2500 development from TF39 program.
