MTSI's Project Experience

 

            The MTSI corporate experience began in January of 1980 at the company's founding.  Preceding this, however, the total applicable experience for the company's founder and some of the employees of MTSI, include 10 years at the General Electric Aircraft Engine Division (1960-1970) and 10 years at Turbine Power Systems Co., later sold to become Rolls Royce Energy Systems.  Clicking on any hyperlinks below will direct you to more detailed descriptions and pictures about the inquired project.

            This total experience can best be outlined chronologically as follows:

·        Entered marine and industrial gas turbine business w/General Electric in 1960.

       1960-1963 – Marketing and product development assignments. LM100, LM350 etc.

       Emergency Generator – Millstone Point Nuclear (1)

§         LM1500 Marinazation Program for U.S. Navy

       1970-1980 – Founded Turbine Power Systems Co. (Later U.S. Turbine, Rolls Royce Energy Systems).
