The Yale PGT5 Gas Turbine Generator package that was designed, manufactured and tested by MTSI is comprised of three (3) 6150 KW, duel fuel, steam injected gas turbines with TEWAC generators.

Testing of the Yale PGT5 unit included verification of all subsystems, controls design and operation. The project scope for MTSI involved extensive coordination with the gas turbine manufacturer, the Yale facilities staff and the architect/engineer brought on by Yale to design the power plant expansion. MTSI also prepared all packaged module manufacturing drawings, installation drawings, and operation & maintenance manuals for the supplied equipment.
