Yale University PGT5 Gas Turbine Generator Set
The power generation system is comprised of three (3) 6150 KW, duel fuel, steam injected gas turbines with Tewac generators. The Yale PGT5 Generator Package is pictured in its testing position in the MTSI plant. Testing included verification of all subsystems and controls design & operation. The project scope involved extensive coordination with the gas turbine manufacturer, the Yale facilities staff and the architect/engineer engaged by Yale to design the power plant expansion. MTSI prepared all packaged module manufacturing drawings, installation drawings, and Operation & Maintenance manuals for the supplied equipment.
